Is going to university really worth it?

A question asked by potential university students across the country is an age old one: Is going to university really worth the money and time? As a student studying Journalism and English at Coventry University I’m inclined to say no, it’s not worth it. And I’ll tell you why.

Why is it that everyone now seems to think they have the right to judge what is beautiful and what isn’t? What happened to beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Now everyone has an opinion and thinks that their view is the right one. As much as I still stand by my Samantha Brick article, it seems she may have actually had a point about the way in which women are perceived by other women but I have to point out that men are just as judgemental towards women too.
